At the bottom of this page you will find a timetable for the extra-curricular activities we are running this term. Trainers are required for any practical PE activities. Please note that the LRC is open until 5pm every day for students to work on homework if they so wish.
Activities may be subject specific eg English homework club, or non-specific, such as help with target setting, study skills, coursework, and examination revision. Why extra-curricular activities? Research has shown that students who regularly participate in activities improve attainment of the subjects they study at Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

How do we ensure that the extra-curricular activities are what the students want? A questionnaire goes out to students. Suggestions are made through the Year and School Councils; There is an Arts Council in Years 7 and 8 who make suggestions and Arts Leaders make recommendations. How do we publicise extra-curricular activities?
